Kristina Rossi of Sts. Peter and Paul Religious Education Program in Turnersville placed first in the fifth grade category in the international “Try Prayer, It Works” contest sponsored by Holy Cross Ministry. The theme was “Speak, Lord, Your Servant Is Listening,” and students could submit art, poetry or an essay. For her winning artwork, Kristina received $100 and the parish was awarded $200. All winning entries can be viewed on the Holy Cross Ministry website, www.familyrosary.org. Kristina is pictured with her pastor, Father Edward Lipinski.
