University of Scranton president Father Scott R. Pilarz will receive the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association of Georgetown University on April 18. The John Carroll Award honors alumni whose achievements exemplify the ideals and traditions of Georgetown University and its founder, Archbishop John Carroll. Father Scott Pilarz, a Jesuit, is a native of Camden and graduate of Camden Catholic High School. He also serves as board president of Camden Catholic.
